Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are important and should be read carefully.

By submitting an order the customer is accepting these terms and conditions.

Purchasing

You must be over 18 to order from this website. It is an offence under the Licensing Act 2003 for anyone under the age of 18 to purchase or attempt to purchase alcohol. Accindo Fine Wines Limited will not sell to anyone who may be suspected of being under 18 years of age.

You must be over 18 years of age to accept delivery of any wine ordered. The delivery will not be made unless the courier company is satisfied that the recipient is at least 18 years of age. Identification may need to be provided to prove this.

By submitting an order you are confirming that you, and any intended recipient, are 18 years of age or over.

Unfortunately we only accept orders from the United Kingdom.

Time of Contract

No contract will exist between you and Accindo Fine Wines Limited until we have received your order and received payment for such order. Acceptance by us that your order has been confirmed will be made by a confirming email sent to an email address as provided by you. Upon acceptance by us of your order a legally binding contract will be in effect.

Note that the terms and conditions may change from time to time without notice. For any future orders, the terms and conditions in effect at the time of order will supersede previous versions.

Prices and Payment

Currently, Accindo Fine Wines Limited is trading below the VAT threshold and as such is not required to add VAT to its prices. Note that this may change in the future. All prices are listed in pounds sterling.

Payment is taken at the time of order and is done by PayPal. Accindo Fine Wines Limited does not retain nor access any credit or debit card details. Payment can be made by debit, credit and charge card (American Express only).

Unit Sizing

Unless otherwise stated, all bottle sizes are 750ml and unless otherwise stated, all cases contain six bottles.

Delivery

Goods will be delivered to the address supplied by you at the time of ordering. Note that the address cannot be a post office box and the delivery must be signed for by a person over 18 years of age.

Standard delivery refers to delivery addresses in mainland United Kingdom. A delivery charge of £10 applies to all standard orders. For any addresses outside of the mainland United Kingdom, we may apply an additional delivery fee. Please note that we do not deliver to non UK addresses.

Every effort will be made to ensure that delivery is effected within ten working days of acceptance of your order. Should there be any reason that delivery is expected to take longer than this, we will inform you that this is the case.

Acceptance of Goods

It is your obligation to inspect the goods immediately upon receipt of the delivery. You must notify either the carrier (upon receipt) or Accindo Fine Wines Limited within three working days of any shortage or breakage. In the absence of any notification within three working days we will deem the delivery to be satisfactorily completed. Upon notification of any shortage or breakage, we will arrange either a full refund or replacement items for any shortages or damaged bottles.

Returns Policy

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations you are entitled to a seven day cooling off period. This means that you may cancel your order with Accindo Fine Wines Limited within seven working days of receipt of your order.

Should you wish to cancel an order, you must contact us within the seven day period. Any goods received must be unopened and remain in their original packaging. You are responsible for ensuring that the goods are returned to us undamaged. Any order cancelled within this period will be refunded in full within thirty days.

Quality and Attributes

We make every effort to ensure the proper cellaring of the wines in our possession and we act in good faith when purchasing wines. However we cannot be responsible for the condition of the wines or whether they show any attributes of which might be expected. It is in our absolute discretion to consider requests for replacement of any order that may be considered undrinkable.

Privacy Policy

Accindo Fine Wines Limited does not disclose any customer information to third parties. We comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and take all reasonable precautions to keep any customer information safe and secure. Merchant services are provided by PayPal.
